Alex is currently the Head of Design for Canva’s Ecosystem team, where she applies her expertise in product, digital design and strategy to integrate third-party applications and tools, enhancing the platform's versatility.

Prior to joining Canva, she spent eight impactful years at Atlassian, where she played a key role in shaping the future of Jira Software and Confluence, pioneered to the Atlassian Design System, and built and led global design teams.  

Beyond her professional endeavors, Alex serves on the board of The Australian Web Industry Association. Based in Newtown, Sydney, she’s forever juggling raising three daughters, a Cavoodle Frida, with the steadfast support of her husband, Dan.
